Understanding Your Analytics

Analytics Overview

Lynkd tracks every click on your short links and gives you detailed analytics to understand who is clicking, from where, and on what device. Here is what each metric means:

Click Data

Each click is recorded with a timestamp, geographic location (country, city), device type (mobile, desktop, tablet), operating system, browser, and referrer URL. This data updates in real time so you can monitor campaign performance as it happens.

Time-Based Analysis

The clicks-over-time chart shows you when your audience is most active. Use the date range selector to zoom into specific periods. Look for patterns: do your links get more clicks on weekdays or weekends? Morning or evening? Use these insights to time your campaigns for maximum impact.

Filtering and Segmentation

Use the filters at the top of the analytics view to segment your data. You can filter by date range, geographic location, device type, referrer source, or UTM parameters. Combining filters lets you answer specific questions like 'How many mobile clicks from the United States came from my email campaign last week?'

Comparing Links

Select multiple links to compare their performance side by side. The comparison view shows click totals, geographic distribution, and device breakdowns for each link. This is useful for evaluating which campaigns or channels are outperforming others.
