Why Use a Custom Domain?

A custom branded domain replaces lynkd.co with your own domain for short links. For example, instead of lynkd.co/promo, your links would look like links.yourcompany.com/promo. This builds brand trust and increases click-through rates.

Adding Your Domain

Follow these steps to connect your custom domain to Lynkd:

1. 1Go to Settings and click on the 'Domains' tab.
2. 2Click 'Add Domain' and enter the subdomain you want to use (e.g., links.yourcompany.com or go.yourcompany.com).
3. 3Lynkd will provide you with a CNAME record. Copy this value.
4. 4Log in to your DNS provider (e.g., Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap) and add a new CNAME record pointing your subdomain to the value Lynkd provided.
5. 5Return to Lynkd and click 'Verify Domain'. DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate, but most verify within a few minutes.
6. 6Once verified, your domain will show a green checkmark. All new links can now use your custom domain.
